And I mean those with jobs, not SAHM's.

I work in a small wage city and have people apply for jobs all the time and think they are worth more than they really are and we do not hire them b/c they want more than what the job pays, even if they are qualified.

So, how much do you make (either hourly or salary) and what do you do? Also, what state do you live in?

  • I'm laid off. So I make nothing. I made about $30,000 as a bookkeeper before the dreaded cutbacks. Lived in the KCMO area.

  • I live in West Virginia "The Poor State!" I make $11.00 hr. working for my mother, she owns a little "Mom and Pop store." That's pretty good $ around here but believe me when I say... I work hard for every red cent !" It Ain't easy working for your Mother!!!!!" ha ha
