Disney World

So, tomorrow, we leave to go to Disney World in Orlando.
10 day forecast says it's suppose to have t-storms for the next 10 days!!!!!!!

I'm so pissed. Will they still be open? Will rides still run?
If I've spent all this money, I'm going to be so upset.

  • Honestly, it doesn't rain very long...when we went it was very hot and humid and if it did rain it's for a little and while and then it passes. Have FUN!

  • they will definetly stay open, some rides with shut down whiles its raining but once it stops they will wait up to an hour then start running them again, i've lived in florida half my life & been to disney a million time... with FL it never rains a whole day, it USUALLY rains for a little bit a gets sunny RIGHT after, plus ALOT of rides are inside, like sce mountain & there are many diffrent parks to go to & also has lots of other things to do besides ride plus many resturaunts in the diffrent parks ! you will be fine !!! :) HAVE FUNNNNN !

  • Honey, summer time in FL is the rainy season. But don't worry, it won't last. We live near Orlando, I always try to warn people about what happens in the afternoon. It storms, every day. Full on lightening striking all around pouring down rain. BUT it doesn't last long. DO bring rain ponchos so you don't have to buy them at the park. Just go in and sit at one of the many restaurants, have a snack and a drink while you wait for the storm to pass. They will close any of the rides that are outside rides, but some will still be open. Now that you have been warned, plan your down time for the storms. Don't be pissed, it's just FL weather. We have a little joke.....If you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes.

  • Disney definitely will not close and the rain will not last. There may be a delay until increment weather subsides but pack some ponchos so you avoid paying for them, don't worry about the weather so much and enjoy! Have a safe vacation. You'll have a blast.
