  • Go to your gynecologist and find out. Most of the moms here are not doctors. If you are pregnant, YOU. MUST. SEE. A. DOCTOR. Go to your school nurse and tell her if you don't want to tell your parents yet.

  • Yes there are many other avenues than cafemom where you will find more accurate information. Go to a doctor as the above poster mentioned.

  • They could do a C-section if you have a health issue that could endanger your life, but I am not an MD. Like the first poster said, you really should see a doctor. Have you told your parents?

  • Most likely you will have a csection as to not cause any strain to your heart. Many women with heart trouble deliver either via csection or with a epidural in order to minimize the strain on the heart.

You are not the first and certainly will not be the last to deliver with this condition. It is unlikely that you would die with this because there are precautions that can be taken BUT as others have said you should talk to your doctor about your case.

Good luck sweet heart! Get into your OBGYN as soon as you can.
