  • If you live in the city then you have city water. Do you see any wells anywhere near your home?

  • You would be responsible for the upkeep of the well if that was the case.

  • If you are in the city, probably city water. They are reaching it everywhere. I live in the country and have city water. If you had well water, you would see a pump somewhere in your yard. A bill will have to be paid with city water. And if you are boiling water for your baby, realize that some day they will have to drink that water and if you don't get their bodies used to it, you can cause them problems. Boiling the water isn't really going to take out all of the bad stuff and you are killing the good bacteria that is necessary to kill the bad bacteria in your body. I know, sounds disgusting and confusing, but we do need the good bacteria.

  • Water bill= city water

  • Is there a water meter in the yard or a well pump house??

Most likely you have city water since you live in city limits. And if you have a water bill - you have city water and not a well. You don't have a water bill with a well - just an increased electric bill to run the well pump.

  • If you are paying for your water you are getting it through the city or municipality.
