  • For me, it is lower back pain kind of like cramping- you know, the worst period cramps you ever had. Kind of spreads around your lower back and down through the legs.

  • i didnt have any labor pains in my back with my first so i cant really tell you but as far as labor it feels like the worse period cramps ever and you can actually feel your stomach tighten up during these contractions.

  • Don't worry about the pain - the more you think about the more painful it will be. Think instead of how wonderful it will feel to hold your brand new baby and all the love you have for your baby. When your start feeling contractions breath in through your nose and release through your mouth. It really helps and soon it is all over. You won't even remember if you had any pain.
ps: If you have someone negative with you during labour send them away - think pleasant thoughts!
