  • LOL LOL LOL. I don't think they will listen. Heck, they just voted to cut ethanol subsidies to help us consumers at the gas pump and Obama said if it goes through he'll veto it. I don't think the White House gives a flying fig about the crisis that is already here.

  • Very few in DC listened when MANY argued the historical relevance of entitlement programs.... Historically, Politicians overpromise and underfund to sell their entitlements. Too many buy into it and have become dependent on the government to save them (individuals and businesses) and here we are.... This has been going on for decades.... Our current President adding to the entitlement monster with MORE promises and misleading costs, isn't helping...... We haven't seen solutions... Just more programs to ADD to the 'system'.... So.... Here we are....  You can't solve it with taxing a certain income class more...  CUTS need to be made...  EVERYONE needs to feel the pinch...

  • Get outta town! A looming crisis...who would have thought! Honestly, I don't think they are listening.

"We the people" need to focus on FISCAL issues instead of social ones when voting in the next election.

  • Wasn't it said by Dick Cheney that deficits don't matter? Why yes it was-

Also we need to CUT OFF Israel and stop kicking our kids and elderly to the curb.

Does Dick Cheney have magic mind control powers that are forcing Obama to behave exactly like him?

  • Well NP he had some "mind control" over some deranged Americans and after 8 years of "doesn't matter" attitudes the same individuals are just now flipping out because "suddenly" we're broke! It's slightly hypocritical to lay this all at the feet of the current administration.
And I'll be damned, the Republicans in Congress have now rediscovered fiscal responsibility
It'll be great when the GOP has you stacking cans at the supermarket at 70.

  • Well, here's how it will go; they will just say that we have NO idea how horrible things would be, if they hadn't spent those trillions of dollars on ALL of those absolutely necessary, economy stimulating projects that imo, they blew money for, which translates to ALL of "their buddy and friend's buddies, paybacks"...
