What are good apitizers for a bbq?

We are having my babies 1st birthday in July and doing a BBQ!!! Family members have offered to bring appitizers but im not sure what to tell them to bring? What are good appitizers to go with :
BBQ hamburgers/ hotdogs
baked beans
chips
friut and dip
mac n cheese
the snacks will be : cakepops, chocolate, cupcakes, icecream and cookies!!

What about any casseral ideas??

  • I say if they offer let them bring whatever. Sounds like you have things pretty much covered so anything else brought would just be extra.

  • jalepeno poppers, fruit tray, veggie tray, pin wheels idk what else to call those lol, salad, ummm idk quit smoking like 3 days ago and my brain is having a malfunction...

  • For appetizers we just have a relish tray with veggies-
    Carrots, Celery, Tomatos, Black Olives, Cucumber, Green Pepper

  • You could let one of them bring fruit and dip so you have one less thing to make. Cheeseball is good for all ages, any kind of cold salad. I would give them a few options and let them pick what they want to bring. Corn on the cob is fun too!

  • Some of our apps. that we like are guacamole, nachos with cheese dip or salsa, veggie and fruit trays, bruschetta, cheese and crackers, chips, I make these little cucumber boats with cream cheese, dill and salmon, delish!

  • We like chips and dip, veggies, deviled eggs are my hubby's favorite. He will eat 2 or 3 before I get them all done. so, I make extra's, lol
