How many bowel movements is normal?

I've been eating more lettuce, spinach and cucumbers for the last 2 months and I am having about 2-4 LARGE bowel movements a day. Is this normal? Is it healthy?

  • Normal and healthy. Ideally you should have a BM within 30 minutes of eating and yeah they will be pretty huge when your digestive system is working properly.

  • Thanks, Tarrar. I had read that it could be normal. I guess the more greens I eat, the looser the movements will be. I just didn't realize I had so much "crap" inside me. : )
