  • My son was walking the day he turned nine months old. But then he didn't use sentences until almost two. I'd WAY rather have an early talker than an early walker!

  • He took his first steps at 9 months. But didn't start walking well till about 11 months. But my son was the same as the pp, he didn't start talking till after 2!

  • The day before her first birthday.

  • Oldest - 12 months
    middle - 9 months
youngest - 17, almost 18 months; but said his first words at 9 months. I agree with a pp about early talkers being easier than early walkers. My oldest was severely speech delayed as well (but is now insanely gifted and won't stop talking.)
