I volunteered to wake up early to help out at a cancer survivor event

i am NOT a morning person, and now i'm regretting volunteering myself. i REALLY don't want to. if i just show up late will it be a big deal?
it's not like i'm getting paid or anything but i don't want to burn any bridges, however i'm planning on putting in my 2-4weeks notice in soon. what to do?
gotta wake up at 7am on a saturday morning when usually i wake up at 10

  • I agree with Simplicity3. Even though you're not getting paid, you made a promise and people are counting on you.

  • I am definitely not a morning person either, but if I volunteered to do something, I wouldn't back out. Just drink lots of coffee. Have fun!
