  • breastfeeding pictures are not photos of boobs. they are pictures of a baby's head nuzzled into ints mothers chest. When a child is properly latched there is no nipple showing. I don't get what the big deal is. Especially if there can be photos of girls in trashy clothes sent to my friend box asking to "be my friend". annoying and biased against breastfeeding women in my opinion.

  • I have heard this but do not believe breastfeeding is all that private. But I do not understand why so many women feel the need to share it like breastfeeding is some new fad

  • I agree that it is not a "boob picture" but a picture of a mother mothering her child. Nobody is obligated to look at a picture longer than it takes to un-friend. If you are allowed to nurse in public, I don't know why facebook feels the need to take pictures like that off a public website, particularly when you can post skanky pictures showing way more skin on your page all day long.

  • You could probably find one or a ton of pictures where women are hardly dressed and a nipple is showing....and use that to make your point to them!
That's true....that you can see pictures all day long of extremely scantily clad females but they are offended over a breastfeeding mother?
People are soooo mixed up these days.

  • Yep, I heard about that.

  • while...

Facebook includes eating disorder groups such as “Get Thin or Die Trying,” and “Quod me nutrit me destruit” (“What nourishes me destroys me”). While such eating disorder sites were typically anonymous on the Web, their growing presence on Facebook makes them more public and accessible to more people.

,,,hmm makes sense to me. banish breastfeeding but allow groups that promote eating

ps..while I really would not "want" to see someones boob.. I don't really care much about it either.. I wouldn't post pics of my boobs on there.. I do however care about groups promoting eating disorders being easily accessible to teens...smh
