  • It could be early menopause... That could cause a lot of 'normal' pregnancy symptoms as well and 45 would be a little early but not unheard of by any means.

  • it might be pre-menopause, you should schedule an apointment with the gyno just in case.

  • Yep I was thinking the menopause thing as well. I would doubt that you are pregnant with both of you being fixed.

  • Since your are BOTH unable to have anymore children I would vote menopause. If only you were unable to have children I would say you could be pregnant. I am 44, had a tubal in 1991 and and last April & May I missed my period. I thought it was menopause, no big deal, I was 43 but then June rolled along and I had other symptoms so I saw my Dr. and in Dec., on my youngest son's 19th bday, our 5th and 6th sons (Nicholas and Dominic) joined our family. Their older brothers were 24, almost 23, 20 and 19. So, now we have two little 6 month old babies and our older 4 children will be 25 and 21 next month, 20 in Dec. and 24 in Jan.. It CAN happen.

  • Well, then, I don't think you were both "fixed". If you both the lottery because you beat some serious odds.
