Is this a ok name for girl in America?

My husband and I are originally form Chile and want to give our Daughter a name that speaks for her heritage. I fear the name we love will be hard for Americans to say and like to. Esperanza Yahaira. (Es-pa-ron-zah) (Yah-ha-ear-ah) We would call her Espa or Espie for a nickname. Is it to much. Should we just give her a traditional 'American' first name? Maria Would not be so bad. Maria Esperanza...

  • I think that name is beautiful! There are so many cultures in America, any name would work. Go with your heritage.

  • I think that it is cute! Yes, it is a mouthful, but it would speak to her heritage. Plus, those nicknames are cute!!!

  • i have heard both of those names before growing up, not that uncommon. and Esperanza is pronounced just as it's spelled, not very hard to say at all.

  • It is a lovely name. The middle name is unusual and probably difficult for others to spell, but they do not need to. I love it.
