Reiki experiences???

Have any of you had any experience with Reiki? Receiving, giving, being instructed, or instructing?

I, very likely, will begin learning Reiki from my son's karate master, soon. He is a master in Reiki, Kenpo karate & something else, I think. I trust him & he has done some accu-pressure/Reiki work on me that was phenomenal.

I'm just interested to hear other people's experiences.

  • Yes I do shamanic visualization work accompanied with reiki and aromatherapy. It can have phenomenal results. One lady reversed her diabetes.

  • Not directly, but I hope you're going to update us and let us know how it goes once you've started. There used to be a place here that offered it, and lessons, but they got recessioned.

  • saphire, I'm going back to school this fall. I haven't nailed down a major/creer path. I have considered massage therapy but, I don't know of any college that offers a degree in it, in my area. I can only find trade schools which I don't mind but, I'd like to be able to transfer credits later on if a further my education. Hopefully, I figure it out.

Night, I can see myself praticing something along those lines but, I wouldn't know where to begin as far as learning. Were you formally trained?

NP, I'll keep you posted, I'm excited.

  • My mother studied Reiki and she's a Reiki therapist now. I have to confess that I personally don't have much experience with it but my mom does have her share of patients that are very happy with the therapy.
