  • I would say my husband. He is what got me through and made me feel like everything would be ok and look on his face the first time he held our daughter. It was amazing to watch him fall in love with her. And then my camera so we could have those special first moments captured.

  • sudoku book...helped me pass the time waiting during contractions. last time though contractions were coming too hard and too fast for me to even think about which number goes in which square.

  • My husband, father, camera, and snacks... The snacks came in handy and we also shared them with the nursing staff. Our original nurse bonded with us so much she stayed about an hour past her shift to help me through having the baby :)
