How long should I wait to change my nose ring? I got it done last night

The guy said 2 days. I've looked online and most ppl are saying 2 - months and some are saying 4-6 weeks, others say a few days after the swelling goes down. This thing on my face right now seems HUGE lol

what did you do?

  • I would say 6 to 8 weeks for a nose piercing.
    Ears are 6 weeks.

  • two DAYS??? thats weird...
i waited a month to change from a stud to a ring. i had the piercer do it. and it got infected :/ the infection went away with treatment for about 5 days, but i think i should have waited longer.

  • I changed it tonight. My BFF said she changed it the same day. So its been 24 hours and I changed it. Its a smaller gauge and its a longer stud. I'm not too worried. I thought it was going to hurt but it didn't
