Is it true?

I miscarried at 8 weeks, and had a D and C tomorrow will be a week ago. My OB told us it will be safe to start TTC again after I have a regular cycle. My grandmother told me that she has heard that it's easier to get pregnant after a D and C. I go back for a follow-up tomorrow, but I'm curious tonight. Have you ever heard of such? Is there any truth to it, or is it just an old wives' tale?

  • Just like your body is more easily prone to getting pregnant right after you've had a baby, I would think the same would be true in this case. I believe it's bc that's what your body is used to and thinks it needs?

  • It's true, because typically the first ovulation after a pregnancy, most women ovulate twice
