Would you buy a used breast pump?

  • Yes, if I needed a breast pump. Wash it, obviously, but sure, why not?

  • No. My mom bought me one from a yard sale and seemed really annoyed/let-down when I didn't want to use it.

    I don't think there is anything wrong with using one if it is sterilized, just wasn't for me. I also knew that I could order new tubes, but the way she had it packaged, I didn't even know where to order them from.

    I just used a cheap manual pump. Would have been cool to have the electric pump though, I could have donated more milk than I did.

  • If I couldn't afford a new one, I probably would. I'd just make sure everything was sterilized before using it.

  • I agree. Just sterilize. I have a dual electric Platex breast pump that I don't need anymore. I loved it. Needs one new part though.
