  • My son helps now! I mean, he helps with the preperation and he is 4. He will make pizza with us or if I do cupcakes or cookies he will help stir and decorate.

  • I started my son helping in the kitchen at 2 but not at the stove although at the same time teaching him what HOT was and how it was dangerous. When he was about 4 he could start opening the stove and with assistance putting things in the oven. The stove top was introduced around 6 and again with complete assistance and supervision. Now he's 16 and can cook like a pro and never has he harmed himself.
