Activities/curriculum for a preschooler? Advice needed

I know many people don't follow a formal curriculum with preschoolers but I thought it might be good if I start off with something structured. My son turned 4 in April and I looking for a curriculum/program I can follow with him. Any advice would be helpful

  • There is a very basic curriculum, "Learn At Home Grade K". I am using it with my 3 year old in the fall (I am home schooling). At the moment, preparing him for school, I am using the Mead Pre-K and basic activity books to work on shapes, colors, alphabet and #'s. Noggin (Nickjr) has a great website with educational and fun games! I think routine and schedule will benefit him just as much as educational content (if he's up on his basics:counting, colors, shapes etc). GL.

  • My son didn't do well with a lot of structure at that age. Really we mostly just read together, then talked about what we read. Are you homeschooling?
