  • About a mile . No school bus service but there is a regular bus service . DH and I drive them to school if the weather is bad, especially in the winter.

  • Hmm, not that far. It takes him about 20 minutes to walk home with the horde of kids, and safety patrol, in the afternoon. I haven't really plotted the distance.

  • The short cut - 5 minutes from the building to our home. 2 minutes from the baseball field.
The long way takes about 10-15 minutes.

  • my son will be walking for the first time this year(we just moved and the schools are alot closer then what they were before); he will be walking 6 blocks but they are short blocks and according to the people that have lived in this area for a while there are crossing guards at all the corners. I am a little nervous but I think if he finds a walking buddy he will be OK
