Do you live in one of our nations many HIDTA's?

HDTA stand's for High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, and chances are you do. According to CNN about 60% of the population does.

Here's a clicky maps where you can find out if your county is on the list.

  • I actually don't.

Sad stuff though when you learn about how drug mules are utterly abused...maybe it is a war we're losing, but does that mean it's not worth fighting?

  • Nope. There are issues in nearby counties they tend to have much higher crime than we do. When we lived in California the paper was filled with drug arrests some violent some non violent.

The war on drugs is pointless. Might be time to wage the war on pedophiles and abusers so people don't feel they need drugs to cope. Not saying all abuse victims use drugs I certainly don't. But most who use are people who are damaged. Mandatory life sentences for rapists and molestors. In a generation we would see a difference.

  • Due to Mexico bordering my state.

My state borders Canada and Minnestoa and we're on the list. You're not so silly as to think that drug trafficking only happens in states that border developing nations, are you?

  • Guess I do. My county is listed on the headquarters thing when I click the red dot. Not all that surprising, I DO live near a border (can drive there in about 2 hours)
