There is no "diet" to follow. You should just make healthy choices.
Eat 5-7 servings of fruits and vegetables per day.
Eat soon after you wake-up.
Try to eat beans/legumes a few times a week in place of animal proteins.
Avoid processed foods (or at least reduce intake of processed foods) -- anything that comes in a can, box, or jar -- eat less of those.
Move your body more -- walk and take stairs whenever possible. Try walking or doing some sort of physical activity w/ your family after work/school together.
Don't be a sucker -- don't fall for gimmicks, quick fixes, unbelievable promises -- if it sounds too good to be true, IT IS.
Weight loss takes hard work, dedication, and support from friends/loved ones. Expect to lose about 1-2 pounds per week for long-term, successful wt loss.
