  • WHY are you putting rice cereal in his bottle at 2 1/2 months???? NO solids before 6 months, mama!!

  • Don't give rice cereal until he is 4 or 5 months old. His tummy can't handle it yet! And never feed it in a bottle. Feed it with a spoon. Of course that can be why he's spitting up.

  • It is indeed the cereal. Too early, and shouldn't be given in a bottle unless directed by a doc for reflux.

  • Definitely no cereal yet. Plus babies have a much harder time realizing they're full and that rice cereal expands in their little bellies, so I'm sure if you stop feeding him cereal he'll stop spitting up.

  • yea ..too young for cereal.. and you shouldnt put cereal in the bottle.. the only thing that goes in the bottle is milk or formula

  • At that age, his digestive system probably can't handle the cereal.
