  • Some schools have a class where they are taught to cook, cookbooks. Your local library or ymca may have courses. Give them a call and they may be able to direct you to somewhere.

  • My DS is 13. Tonight, he learned how to fry up bacon. He knows how to make mac-n-cheese, melted cheese sandwiches, etc. Sometimes, he will go to www.allrecipes.com to pick a recipe to make.

  • A lot of cooking websites have instructional videos. A lot of high schools have culinary courses.
Some community colleges have community courses that are open to all ages and aren't for college credit and might have a "How to cook" type of course.
