Do you have any tips for making your own sachets?

The smelly good things you put in closets and drawers.

  • Use porous but small-holed material (stocking nylons work well)(actually, go to a shoe store, and ask for a handful of the footies - perfect size). You can put a lacier layer over, but you need a layer to keep all of the potpourri or other scented material in and not getting on your clothes.

    You can use a variety of different materials for scents. The easiest is premade potpourri, or simply buy a bulk bag of lavender buds or whole cloves or cinnamon sticks.
