3 year old Stuttering

My Daughter Started Stuttering a week ago, i know she is advanced for her age. the only thing that scares me is the fact that a few days before she fell at daycare and got a bump on the back of her head.

  • stuttering isn't a family trait. I wouldn't think it was because of a bump on the head. One thing for sure, do NOT make her aware of her stuttering, will make it worse.

  • Lots of kids start stuttering when they are taking a developmental leap in another area.  I don't think the fall is part of it, but if you're concerned, do get her checked.
