What's some good vacation spots?

I've been to Flordia and Hawaii, I'm looking for ideas on the next trip that are maybe kid friendly for a family trip next year?

  • Rent a big house on the outer bank in NC. Pool, hot tub, pool table the works. You can drive your 4wd on the beach and have campfires on the beach at night. The sound is shallow, you can swim out forever, and no waves for small kids.

  • Our family loves Myrtle Beach South Carolina! Plus we just got back from the mountains in West Virginia close to Elkins WV,  we stayed at The Smoke Hole Resort, it was awesome! My kids had never seen caverns before, they thought it was totally cool! At the resort they had fishing ponds and my son got a trophy rainbow trout, horse back riding, train rides up the mountains, Black Waterfalls and canoeing. We had a blast, the kids all said, that's where they wanna go next year!

  • We're on a very long national park tour of the West. We've been to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Craters of the Moon (monument) and are currently on the Eastern side of Yosemite. We wanted to see Devil's Postpile outside of Mammoth Lakes but the road is still closed.

We'll see Joshua Tree, Carlsbad Caverns and a few more before we finish. All together we'll spend a month on the road. We'll hit Rocky Mountain National Park and Great Sand Dunes sometime over the summer, but they are close to home.
