What is ther best way to deal with the pain of a recent knee surgery at home?

I just had knee surgery yesterday and do not have the money to pay for the pain meds the doctor gave me.

  • Keep it elevated and isolated for a few days. It will heal fast. When you sleep, prop a couple or few pillows under it. For pain, I would use Excedrin back and body pain reliever. Keep icing it as often as you can. The swelling will go away afeter a few days. Best of luck. I have had 3 knee surgeries and I know what it's like. Feel free to PM me anytime. What procedure did you have done?
