  • A few friends and family of mine had the surgery...the only time they got sick was when they ate too much, or ate/drank things that werent on the diet...like alcohol...if she isnt feeling well...tell her not to give up! Keep going back and doin tests.its been years though! So IDK if its really surgery related!? GL

  • Family members that had it go through the same thing. If they eat too much, too fast or high fat foods they will get sick. Same thing with drinking.. They also had to take liquid vitamins because their bodies were not getting the nutrients they needed from foods.. So yes, in a way this is normal.. The surgery is a life style change with a big road block on what foods you can and can not eat as well as how much..

Did she change her eating habits, types of foods she ate.. If not, I would start there.. Smaller meals might help her, I mean the size a toddle would eat.. Hope this helps some..

  • Every surgery is different, I have an in-law that took years to recover she was very sick. Have her speak to a nutritionist.

  • Ok, she can not continue to eat the way she did before the surgery.. This is why she feels so sick and has no energy.. The surgery is a boost but she must curb her eating habits and the amount she eats at one time or this will continue to happen.. If she doesn't throw it up, TMI it will come out the other end :(

Research this and give her the info she needs to help herself feel better..

  • get her to a different doctor....ive never heard of this before....you said its been 6-7 years since the surgery? now shes having issues? that cant be good...but on the other hand it could be something totally different.......find a different doctor....tell them its an emergency and somethings obviously wrong, let them know everything thats going on and dont take no for and answer...
