FB question????

I have just recently opened up a Fb account. I am getting in touch with some friends from high school that I haven't seen in almost 20 years. There are two that were my really good friends., we just lost touch through the years. So I sent them a private message through Fb asking how they were and telling them a little about me. Family, kids, job, that type of thing. Well this was about a week ago and haven't heard anything from them, just them accepting my friends request. Would this bother you or am I just acting crazy by letting it bother me????

  • They are probably just busy with life, accepting a friend request takes one second, an email takes a few. And you know how time consuming that can be with kids, words, etc. :)

  • It would bother me a little too but they may have not seen it or had time to read it yet..Maybe just send another just saying hi to get a convo started with them.

  • They accepted your friend invite. Maybe they are just really busy. Let it go.

  • If they were your GOOD friends then I'm sure eventually they will write back. You know peolpe get busy and forget! :) I'd wait another week and post something on their wall. I don't know why, but I'm more likely to repsond faster with a post on my wall than a personal message. It seems faster/easier I guess. Don't let it get you down though, they accepted your friend request fast enough!

  • let it roll off your back. People like that aren't worth wasting your time bothering. But sorry it's happening it does suck

  • Why worry about it. People are busy this time of year. They accepted your friendship. Give them time to respond. Have a great day !! :-)
