  • A jello flag! It's so hot here that something nice and cool but not overly filling sounds great!

  • Something cool and fruity ... triple berry parfait or good old fashioned watermelon. Can't go wrong with watermelon.

  • We do a white Cake with Whipped topping instead of frosting and make a flag with strawberries and blueberries. It's so good and not so rich like most desserts are.

  • just get some red white and blue strawberries, blueberries and bananas and put them in a large see through plastic cup. Separate the three fruits with whipped cream and it's done.

  • I do the cake that SpiritedWitch mentioned. I use Entemann's pound cake. Slice it and put it on the bottom of a rectangle pirex pan. Then add your sliced stawberries and blueberries. Then put a layer of cool whip or whip cream. On top form a flag with remaining stawberries and blueberries. Refrigerate for a hr so the whipped topping firms up a little. mmmm.....I could go for a piece right now..... ;o)

  • I do a strawberry delight. It has strawberries, cool whip, strawberry filling, then a delicious crust. Just pm me if you would like the recipe.

  • I agree with the fruit, We had a fabulous fruit dip at a graduation this year, It is just equal amounts of cream cheese and marshmallow cream. It was incredible. You can serve grapes, strawberries and pineapple. They are easy to dip. "First" and "Womans World" magazines have awesome ideas. You could pick up a copy and find some fun recipie and entertainment ideas. Have fun !
