How old were your kids when they saw the desntist for the 1st time?

My oldest was almost 6, and my middle DS will be 5.

  • Between 3 & 4. She was old enough to sit still and understand what they were doing.

  • My kids were between 2.5 yr and 3 or sooner if they have a issue with their teeth something hurting etc.
    All the girls did very well but we were lucky too find great dentists here and in Germany.

  • I heard you should take them around 1 years old. Kinda wish I took my daughter by that time. She is now 3 years old and I noticed her front teeth are SLIGHTLY decaying. So I limited her juice to only one cup a day and brushing twice a day. Seems to be improving.

  • 4-5 yrs old. It was when the pediatric dentist suggested and he needed a dental exam before he started Kindergarten. He saw an orthodontist at 7.

  • 2 for all of mine. I could not, for the life of me, find a dentist that would take them at 1!
