  • To find a pediatrician that supports your views some have very strong views that can cloud your true parenting style.

  • Dont believe everything the nurses tell you about breastfeeding. I remember being in the hospital right after i had ds and the nurses were like "oh you can't hold him like that he will SUFFOCATE!" I was like "WHAT?!?!?" Then later I found out a newborns nose is equipped for breastfeeding and if they can't breath they will stop to take a breath.

  • that its not as easy as it looks your kid crys you cry your kid sleeps you clean your kid poops you say oh man lol its hard but worth it i was 16 and thought it would be so easy but it is the hardest thing in the world to be a parent
