Is it possible to have contractions that only affect half of your uteras? I only ask because I was sent to the hospital a few weeks ago b/c I had dialated. I have felt cramping in my lower abdomen (very similar to contractions I experienced with my first pregnancy), but the monitors did not detect any contractions.

  • Maybe they are braxton hicks. That is what my Mom calls them pre labor contractions that usually aren't detected.
