Minot, ND is not doing well. The sirens just went off. Water is breaching the dikes.

They sure could use some prayers there. I know people who are being affected there.

  • To the military stationed there~ to get help OR volunteer: Department of Defense personnel and families affected by the current flood events can report to the E-FACC for emergency shelter, information, referral and support or call 723-4500 for flood related assistance. DoD personnel and their families are encouraged to use the on-base E-FACC to allow downtown agencies to assist other Minot community members.

The E-FACC reception area will be at the Airman and Family Readiness Center.

The E-FACC will also be a drop-off point for donations and volunteer information and support. Volunteers are needed to assist the E-FACC with reception, donation collections and information/referral and support for the current flood events.

Volunteer hours are flexible and will be needed around the clock for 24-hour operations. Interested individuals can report to A&FRC or call 701- 723-4500 for more information.

  • I don't know anyone up there but I know what it is like to have your home and neighborhood completely destroyed by flood waters. We just recently got back on our feet after losing everything we had. My husband is helping with the flooding near Council Bluffs, IA right now.
