  • I would tell him that before the raincoat comes off, he better have it checked.

  • Oh yes there is! I have no personal experience, thank God! But as a nurse I have seen it all.

The most surprising was a pregnancy that happened between a hubby with a vasectomy (passed both sperm count tests) and a wife with a tubal ligation. She was in her 50's too and starting to go through menopause.

    Anything is possible.

  • Well, there's always a chance. People have gotten pregnant in situations like this. He really needed that sample checked! It's how they ensure the procedure went perfectly. I'd go buy a preg test right away. You want/need to know for sure.

  • It is VERY possible. Tell him to get his sperm count done! He's chancing another pregnancy by NOT doing so. It took my husband over 9 mos. to get a complete clean count and just because it "ain't swimming" doesn't mean it can't impregnate. And we were making sure he was evacuating as often as he could.

  • Yeppers. Sperm have been known to "jump" the gap and the vas deferens have been known to grow back together. Nature can always find a way. He really should have that follow up to make sure the procedure took.
