4 Bumps

Found this humorous and a fine example of how some will believe anything.

In the book Gender and Violence, by the feminazi, Katherine Hanson, she stated that 4 million women are beaten to death every year in the US and violence was the leading cause of death for women in this country. The media ran with it.

That would mean 11,000 women are beaten to death daily, 40 million in ten years. If that were true, there would be no women left within a couple generations.

The total number of deaths of women in the US from all causes is only about 1 million and the total number murdered is about 4,000.(and the real leading cause of death for women is heart disease)

How can we trust what the media reports when they can not see the lunacy in such statements as that? It doesn't take rocket science.

  • There was a similar far fetched stat released that the media ran with about homeless deaths that the media ran with. Can't remember the actual stats but it had more homeless people dying daily, than the total number of homeless.

  • Sadly there are so many people that don't bother to "do the math" and figure out the stats just can't be right.

  • That reminds me of how they were saying there are 46 million people uninsured which is why we need Obamacare. When you take out the illegal immigrants, the people that refuse to buy insurance, the people who are between jobs or waiting for coverage to kick in then the number is a LOT less than 46 million.

I read one report that when you subtract all that out the figure is close to 8-10 million. That is still a lot, but nowhere near what they report to scare you.

  •  There is so much propaganda out there; imo, we are living in a matrix and unfortunately, many are gullible and accept ANYTHING that is said, without question...

  • Reminds me of those people who spout off about how we should fix the economy by giving everyone over a certain age 1 million dollars, thinking 10 million people multiplied by 1 million dollars equals 10 million dollars.
