Dollar store test?

Do you think dollar store pregnancy test are accurate?

  • I think so...although not as 'sensitive' from what i hear but still accurate.

  • From what I gather, you are either secreting HCG or you are not. They worked fine when I was pregnant with my son!!

  • The reason they are only a dollar is that you can't just, um, pass it through the flow.

    You have to collect a urine sample, and use an eyedropper to put on the test.

    In my opinion, worth saving 10$ or so on, but I know everyone wouldn't agree.

    They are less sensitive, from what I've read, but there is a range for other HPTs. If you get a positive, go ahead and call the OB to schedule an appointment! If you get a negative, try again in a day or two... it only cost a dollar.

  • lol, well im glad it worked well for everyone else, mine lied to me and told me no when it was really yes.. LOL, i was 4 weeks along when i took my dollar store test and 6 weeks when doctor confirmed i was
