  • WE have no yard in the winter since it can be below zero quite often and there is a snow cover....but, in the fall and the spring, we would spread "weed and feed" on the entire yard to prevent weeds. It works. Go to a gardening store or Home Depot,etc. and ask about ":Weed and Feed"....its a great product! Its Ask about them too.really easy to do with a handheld or a push spreader/

  • i don't want chemicals in my lawn, so i hand pull the weeds. i can keep up with the front yard, but not the back yard!
