  • I opted for number one, I we was 25 weeks at the time. I was miserable for a week and did not have the baby so I was scheduled for the surgery. I think I would ask the odd of number 2 being successful and go for that.

  • DNC - safest for you as it insures that you will not end up infected from anything that might remain otherwise.

And a spontaneous abortion is another name for a miscarriage. You had a missed abortion - nothing left your body.

I am so sorry for your loss.

  • I am not sure what i would do, I am sorry first of all you lost your baby. I am thinking probally 3 to make sure you are totally cleaned out.

  • #3.. a lot of times the body doesn't always expel all of the contents and you end up having to do a D&C anyway. i'm sorry for your loss *hugs*

  • I have been in your exact situation twice. I am so sorry that you are going through this, I know how difficult this is for you. My choice was to schedule a DNC. I didn't want to sit around waiting for my baby to abort on it's own, but I didn't have the option of a pill. Still in my mind, I didn't want to take the chance of 'seeing' anything, I would still go with a DNC.
