Think about what's been going on in your life recently. Most depression (unhappy detachment from your own life) comes either from a situation (like a problem with someone close to you, or a loss) or a physical condition (fatigue, hormone imbalance, nutritional deficiency).
For now, you might try putting on some happy upbeat music, & pushing yourself to get busy with a household task that you know you can complete in an hour. That will give you a feeling of accomplishment (like cleaning out a 'junk drawer' or cleaning & organizing your refrigerator door). If you have some private time after that, sit in a peaceful place for 15 mins, and mother your inner child. Ask yourself what's bothering you. Give yourself all the compassion you would give your child/children if s/he came to you feeling down and needing your comfort. Try to determine what the problem really is. The answer is inside you...you just have to see it. GL :-)
