how can u give advice?

how can u give advice about kids if u haven't even popped your kid out yet? LOL!

  • Because some moms like to have knowledge before they have there kid so they do research (books ,the internet, friends) So someone is asking a question and they have read about it then they pass what they have learned.

  • i knew a lot about kids and raising a child too before i became a mother myself... its called educated daycare teacher that has read a lot of books and knows many families

  • Well...I for one have been on CafeMom my entire pregnancy. I mostly give advice to pregnant women. The ONLY time I give advice for actual kids is when I actually experienced what they're talking about, or I know from what I've read on other questions and such.

    I wouldn't go around giving advice on a topic I knew nothing about though.

  • before my son i raised my 2 younger sisters and took child care classes. so before i became a mother i already had plenty of experience.

  • I really dont know the answer to this question...I have been having babies since I was 18 and I finally stopped at 40...and I have taught preschool for 13 yrs so kids are basically what I do!

  • I never give advice on pregnancy and infants because dd was adopted at 3 years old. IDK it is just common sense to not give advice abut things you have not experienced yourself.
