Did you have two colors for your bridesmaid dresses?

My sister has picked brown and wine and now doesn't know what to do with the groomsmen. Any suggestions?

  • Black tux and wine tie, or just black tux, black tie and wine pocket square.

  • And that would work with the girs wearing the brown dresses too?

  • Oh, I thought you meant each dress was wine and brown. I guess each man should match his partner. Brown with brown, wine with wine.

  • I agree with mompam and think just one color for the guys will look very nice and coordinating with both dress colors.

  • With still a black tux? I think so too. What about the groom?

  • The groom should wear a black tux and white tie, white vest. I love that. All tux's should be black.

  • We had two bridesmaids in different colors. The guys wore black tuxes. One bridesmaid was in a wine color so her escort wore a wine colored vest etc, the other was in sage same thing. In your situation I would go with wine. It pops more then brown would with a black tux./

  • Maybe the men could wear brown instead of black, and have wine pocket squares/ties? My brother and SIL had the men wearing brown (and my brother wore white) at their wedding and they all looked great.
