  • my kids 9, 7, 6 can do most on there own, but they need to be reminded sometimes. my 9 year old sometimes gets in bed in his dirty clothes, my 7 and 6 get dristracted before doing everything and need to be reminded what they need to do.

  • my 3 year old can do all this, but it's supervised.. she picks out her own clothes and dresses herself (I just make sure she shows me the clothes before putting them on and again afterwards to make sure they are on right). SHe puts her shoes on herself, and brushes her own teeth (although we brush them at the same time so I'm able to make sure she does them right).

  • As soon as they were potty trained which was at 2 they could get dressed for bed and all they needed help with was teeth.

  • My kids have been getting themselves ready for bed since they were like 2-3 years old. Whenever they could dress themselves without help. Other than the tooth brushing. Around 5 they were able to do that on their own. They are 11, 9, 8 and 5 and my involvement in bedtime is to tell them it's time for bed and to go brush their teeth. They do the rest--change into pajamas, brush their teeth, come give me a hug, shut the lights out and get in bed. Later I make sure their doors are closed (usually they close them).
