  • Nope. Only biological parents can along with a judge if the judge agrees.

  • No, only parents can. Step parents have no legal rights unless you legally adopt the child.

  • No, you have no legal rights to that child as you are only a step parent UNLESS you have legally adopted the step child.

  • Your step daughter would be the one to get herself emancipated. In order to do that she would have to be able to provide for herself and be an adult.

  • No, and if your husband doesnt agree with it then you shouldnt do it anyway. Here you only need one bio parent to sign but in some states you need both. Check on the laws in your area and have a heart to heart with the child's dad.
