Parents? adult content

Okay has your parents ever got mad at you over stupid stuff? Well my mom got mad because my DH cant go to a cook out at my aunts because he is going to be fixing my vehicle. Well my sister told me that me and my daughter could ride with her. Well my sisters SO decided that he would stay behind with my husband which is okay cause he doesn't like to around a bunch of people he doesn't know. Anyway my mom called and cussed me out because he wasn't going and I told her how I felt. And I let my aunt know that he couldn't come because of him working on my vehicle.
Should I make him go or have him fix my vehicle?
I don't care if he goes or not because its his choice. I took up for him saying he has the right to choose what he does.
DO you think My mother was wrong in cussing me?
Should she be happy that me and my daughter get to come?
Should she apologies to me or should i to her?

  • I think your mom owes you an apology. Like you said its your dh's choice if he goes or not. Besides he is doing something important to take care of his family, your mom should respect that.

  • She was definitely wrong to do that to you! It's important that your vehicle get fixed. Also, it's really none of her concern if he comes or he doesn''s his decision. Go, have fun, and try to just blow it off. Don't allow her to ruin your day!

  • With that attitude I wouldn't even go now. Your mom needs to grow up.

  • Is this something he does often? Is there always an excuse as to why he doesn't go?
Of course your mother was wrong in cussing you. Do you cuss your children?
