My 3 year old keeps calling me a bit*h! what do i do!!!

It seems like he knows what it means and when to say it.

  • Wow - first, I'd locate the source and keep that source from re-inforcing that type of vocabulary. After that a simple, "Honey, we don't use that word. It's not nice." with very little emotional reaction will get him to drop it. The more you react, the more you show him the word is powerful. If he thinks it's powerful, he'll continue to use it.

  • lol YB normal thats funny.. and no 3 yrs old is not too young to lie.. my 3 yr old lies too. She wet the bed and told me it was water.. :P thats a lie. anyways my daughter goes into time out and i talk to her and tell her thats a bad word.

  • put his little butt in timeout if he wants a reaction that bad and of course explain thats its not a nice word to use the first time...after that if he continues time outs,loss of privileges,video games,etc,,,he'll get the message eventually....
