Rug burn

My daughter has such bad rug burn on her legs from crawling and scooting all over the carpet. I would put pants on her but it is just soo hot. We put lotion on her legs every day, but it just keeps getting worse....her calves are bright red and completely irritated...any suggestions for how to help ease the discomfort? She keeps itching them, which only makes it worse.

  • something thin like tights put them on her and a singlet it may be hot but something thin on her legs will help put the tights on her after you put some cream on it and do it 3 times a day if its pretty bad make sure its rash cream good luck

  • maybe its not rug burn. maybe she is allergic to something. do you use any type of carpet freshener? I would just bite the bullet and get her some thin tights to wear.
