  • We are Latino, so my daughters call their grandma Aya, only because my oldest couldn't say 'abuela' when she began talking... so it stuck :)

  • my kids call their grammas by gramma and their fisrt name, Gramma Joy and Gramma Louanna, my dad is their only grandpa and he is Bampi, my oldest started calling him that when he was a baby, he is 23 now and it stuck for all the other grandkids

  • I was a teen mom with my 1st and my mom didn't want to be called one of the names that made her seem old, so she insisted on being called granny.

    my inlaws are jewish so they prefer the hebrew names for grandma and grandpa, saba and safta.

  • my kids call my mil and fil granny ,papaw and mamaw, my dad they call papaw and some of kids call my mom grandma, mamaw, and my oldest calls her gramsley, Idk why but they laugh everytime she does , so it has started to stick with her and now they are all starting to call her that.
